Many of us have a regular daily routine; we wake up, go to work, do some errands, watch TV — all things that don’t seem too exciting. But they can seem more fun when you do all of them on a bicycle — or at least pretend to for a few seconds. That’s what Guillaume Blanchet did in this find from Adventure Journal, a video of him as “The Man Who Lived On His Bike.” The tongue-in-cheek video shows a day in the life where he a sleeps, showers, shaves, irons his clothes, has breakfast, washes the dishes, does a few crossword puzzles while using the toilet, brushes his teeth, commutes to work, operates a computer, eats lunch at McDonalds, goes on a conference call, does office work, goes home, feeds his pet fish, waters his plants, flips through the channels on TV, makes spaghetti for dinner, and courts a lady — all while riding his bicycle.

Blanchet, an ad agency copywriter — and obvious cycling enthusiast — spent 382 days filming the piece with a GoPro camera in Montreal. He dedicates the film to his father, a fellow cycling enthusiast, who has ridden more than 75,000 miles on his bike.
