You think you know a lot about cars, right? After all, you've been driving them for most of your life, at least since you got a driver's license in high school or college. But as satirist Mark Twain once noted, it's not what you don't know that's the problem. It's all the things you know that aren't so.
Case in point: There are a lot of things that people think they know about cars that simply aren't true. You've probably heard these things from a friend or a relative or you saw them in a television show or movie. Unfortunately, movies can be misleading and friends don't always know what they're talking about. In this article, we'll look at some common car myths and tell you why they aren't actually true.
