Python

Biologist and snake enthusiast Steve Backshall captured and relocated a large python that was eating the chickens in a small Imbak village of plantation workers. While a large adult python could kill a human being (most likely by strangling), human adults are outside the normal size range for prey, and reported attacks are rare.

"Python" is the common name for a group of nonvenomous  constricting snakes. Most pythons live in the dense underbrush of rugged tropical rainforest regions. Steve captured the Imbak animal in a den dug under a bridge near the village.
