Why MythBusters?
"Honestly, MythBusters is almost a spoof already, isn't it?... Also, the nearly diametrically opposed personality types of Adam and Jamie make good comedy."
Biggest Challenge?
"As the foreground and background elements were not shot together, it was a challenge keeping the camera locked down for the FX plates."
Behind the Scenes
"The van that ultimately terminates the plucky Mythtern is the same type of van the MythBusters often rent to travel to distant locations. This was total coincidence. That van was the only decent image of a cube truck that I could get my hands on. Only after I cut in the MythBusters segments did I notice the similarity."
One Last Thing
"I hope that Adam can forgive my friend Josh's use of the self-deprecating 'nerd' voice. I would apologize for the walrus mustache on Jamie (played by my friend, Jeremy), but in reviewing the actual MythBusters shows, we feel that we may have hit a little close to the mark on that one."
