James Williams Ever the explorer, here's me out in the Badlands of Montana reporting on a dino dig.
I've always been drawn to visual images be it photographs, video, film, paint, pencil - whatever it is I wanna see it and pick it apart and possibly sketch it while stuck in a meeting. After studying film and journalism at Virginia Tech, I devoted most of my time exploring independent filmmaking, screen writing, video editing, graphic design and web design. Did I mention a lifelong passion for dinosaurs and huge scary weather events? I got lucky when all of those interests converged into my current position as a science video journalist. I never get tired of asking "why?" Also: I never get tired of co-producing the Friday News FeedBag/Blog, our weekly weird science news round up that illustrates why the real world is waaaay stranger than anything you'd see in movies.
