Earth is a wavy planet. The watery sort of waves are the focus of awe and fear -- both well deserved. Surfers are continuing finding new ways to fling themselves into and out of the giant watery jaws of death. Meanwhile, the rest of humanity is trying to stand clear of the breakers.
