NIGHTMARE CANYON
The Dilemma: Could you put your life on the line to save your sibling?

When two brothers set off on a hike into one of Utah's most rugged canyons, they expect the trek will take no more than eight hours. But freezing conditions and extreme terrain push the brothers' limits, until a simple mistake turns a day of bonding into a disaster. With his leg shattered one brother cannot continue, and the other has no option but to go on alone and try to get help. One is left to battle against pain, freezing conditions and time. The other puts his life on the line, descending a dark and deadly canyon alone, with only one thought: If he fails, his brother will die.

FROZEN AT 20,000 FEET
The Dilemma: Could you survive a fall off North America's highest peak?

When they approach the top of Alaska's Mt. McKinley — the highest mountain in North America — three British climbers are caught in a terrible blizzard. They take shelter in a crevasse, but there's no escaping the freezing temperatures. Frostbite takes its toll on one climber — swelling his face, forcing his eyes shut, and leaving him almost blind — and when morning comes, it's clear he might not make it down the mountain alive. They realize they must get down fast or watch their friend die. With their radio broken, the team has no choice but to send one man down the mountain alone to raise the alarm. But a terrible fall leaves him close to death. With their best chance of rescue gone, the climbers can only hope they'll survive America's highest mountain.
Premiere: Friday, Nov. 17, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Get a Reminder.

TRAPPED UNDER THE ICE
The Dilemma: Could you leave your dad alone in a wilderness full of grizzlies to save his life?

A father and son on a summer rafting trip in Alaska hit a freak stretch of ice. Their raft flips over and both men are dragged under the ice by the fast running river. They survive the ordeal only to find themselves without shelter or food in freezing wet clothing in one of North America's remotest spots. The son leaves his dad to set out on an epic and perilous hike over mountains and rivers, along the way fending off grizzly bears. In a stroke of pure luck, after days alone, he is spotted by a lone passing plane and must reach his dad before it's too late.
Premiere: Friday, Nov. 24, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Get a Reminder.

INTO THE HEART OF DARKNESS
The Dilemma: Could you find the strength to go on, lost in the jungle, with no food, no water and no way out?

A young couple heads into the Amazonian rain forest on the hike of a lifetime only to end up hopelessly lost, unable to find their way back to civilization. Trapped in the jungle, they must survive the terrors of the Amazon: hungry predators; packs of wild boar; armies of vicious insects; and a constant thirst that they can only satisfy by drinking water from the forest floor. As the days pass, desperation turns to hallucinations and even thoughts of suicide. They must hold onto sanity until they can find their way home.

BLOOD IN THE WATER
The Dilemma: Could you fight off thousands of man-eating army ants, vicious crocodiles, wild hippos and packs of hyenas on one of Africa's mightiest rivers?

Five friends enjoying a weekend fishing trip on one of Africa's wildest and remotest rivers are left fighting for their lives when a hippo suddenly attacks their boat in one of the world's most crocodile-infested rivers. Three of them manage to make it to a sandbank in the middle of the river, but the current's too strong for them to move. One of the men decides to swim for shore — the group's only chance of survival — only to be attacked by a crocodile along the way. With his fast thinking and experience in the wild, he escapes with his life — only to face angry army ants and a terrifying encounter with a Cape buffalo. The rest of the party face a traumatic night fending off crocs armed only with a boat paddle, losing sight of their friend upriver, and worrying how they'll ever make it back to shore.
Premiere: Friday, Dec. 8, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Get a Reminder.
