Paul joined the Wizard under a cloud of doubt last year as a man more at home at high altitude than sea level. A professional climber, he met Keith when he guided him up Mt. Ranier. Paul took Keith up on his offer to join the crew as a greenhorn to challenge himself in his off-season — but left the boat with little desire to keep fishing. Surprisingly, Edgren felt the siren's call to return to the Bering Sea. Even with his sketchy commitment, Keith senses Paul is more of a natural fisherman than he might think.
