Q. Have you ever busted a myth you desperately hoped would be plausible or confirmed?

Jamie: No. I don't really care about myths. I just like fooling around with stuff, and if the most expedient way to do that is to call it "myth busting," it's OK by me.
Adam: Desperately hoped? Honestly, with the "Killer Cable Snap," I was so sure that it was true ... I wanted to see it happen. Halfway through the first day, it was apparent to me that it couldn't be true, and that ALL the evidence we had that supported it was anecdotal. That turned out to be the case. In reality, I'm completely fooled as to the outcome of a myth close to half the time.
Kari: Yes, Pottery Record. It seemed like it was going to be possible. The idea that we might be able to hear ancient voices recorded into pottery was so romantic to me. I would have loved to listen to ghosts from the past.
