MythBusters is a thought-provoking show — and since it also a question-producing one, we've set up a place for all the 'Busters to shed some light on, well, whatever you want. Something still eating at you? POST A QUESTION.

Q: What's your favorite show-related, never-got-aired story that you could tell about Grant or Tory?
— structural_analyst

Kari: Tory tried to make stilts that would get him past a guard dog. He actually made superlong crutches for his arms and supertall shoes for his feet. Sheer terror and utter hilarity ensued. It didn't make the cut but what a MythBustery moment! Grant and I thought he was insane for thinking the dog wouldn't knock him over.

Q: With your job, a lot of people, myself included, look at you and say, "WOW! That's an awesome job! I wish I could do that." Is there any job that you look at and have the same reaction? — tybo09

Kari: Absolutely. So many that I can't even list them. I guess that is why I had such a hard time picking a major.

Q: In the episode when you blow up the safe, you're wearing a green jacket. What kind of jacket is it?
— rocks2010

Adam: That jacket was built by hand by my friend Beej Cronin. He had a company called Kitanica Protective that made all sorts of clothing like that. I don't think he makes it anymore.

Q. Which myth were you most excited to test? Which were you most nervous about?
— greatwhitesrule

Jamie: The most, best, worst, favorite ... These questions we have a hard time answering because we see it as all the same. Problem-solving, using what we have available to make something happen or figure something out is what we do, so whether it is blowing something up or working with fecal bacteria, it is just as intriquing.

For the most part, the high point of my day is some moment — often by myself and off camera — where I figure out something. This is usually a point where I finally get the problem clearly inside my head and boil it down to the most basic parts. Then I can start to manipulate it.

Q. Have you ever busted a myth you desperately hoped would be plausible or confirmed?
— jasongary

Jamie: No. I don't really care about myths. I just like fooling around with stuff, and if the most expedient way to do that is to call it "myth busting," it's OK by me.

Adam: Desperately hoped? Honestly, with the "Killer Cable Snap," I was so sure that it was true ... I wanted to see it happen. Halfway through the first day, it was apparent to me that it couldn't be true, and that ALL the evidence we had that supported it was anecdotal. That turned out to be the case. In reality, I'm completely fooled as to the outcome of a myth close to half the time.

Kari: Yes, Pottery Record. It seemed like it was going to be possible. The idea that we might be able to hear ancient voices recorded into pottery was so romantic to me. I would have loved to listen to ghosts from the past.
