Dr. Maley is the director of the Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Transplant Center's liver transplant program. He is a member of the Association for Academic Surgery as well as the American Society of Transplantation. His research and academic work focuses on organ preservation and clinical outcomes. Over the years he has become known for his skillful performance in the operating room, and has helped Hopkins train countless young transplant fellows to become outstanding surgeons. Dr. Maley is loved by patients and staff, and he is known as an outstanding teacher and leader to all. He lives in the Baltimore area with his wife and two children.
