Gender and Learning
A controversial new study suggests boys learn better from male teachers while girls learn better from female teachers. The author says he is not suggesting schools try and hire more male teachers (80 percent of U.S. teachers are women). Instead, he argues, the findings could be used to better understand how kids learn.
