Preserved as an "Iliad" Soldier
An ancient bronze funerial urn in which archaeologists discovered 2,700-year-old fabric remains is shown here. The find, in the southern town of Argos, is extremely rare, and archaeologists speculate the burial may have been in imitation of ones described in Homer's "Iliad."
