Vroom
The electrically powered scooters pictured here fold to half their size, which makes them easier to park, store and carry onto subways or buses. The idea, say the scooter's inventors, is for transportation authorities to make thousands of the scooters available to commuters at conveniently located, one-way rental racks -- similar to bicycle-share programs.
