Shod? Look at the Toes
An image shows toe bones analyzed in the study. "Su 1" refers to bones from a 27,500-year-old Russian. "TY 1" are from the oldest known shoe-wearer, a 40,000-year-old person from China. "QAF8" refers to a Middle Paleolithic early modern human and the last one, "KK1," shows Neanderthal middle toe bones.
