Just a Baby
Whale experts from around the world this month convened at The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa for the dissection of a pygmy right whale, pictured here. It was only the second major anatomical examination of a pygmy right whale. The first dissection was facilitated at the same museum in 1996.
