Something Is Driving Us Apart...
This image was produced by combining a dozen NASA Chandra X-ray Observatory observations made of a 130 light-year region in the center of the Milky Way. When microwaves created by the Big Bang pass through large galaxies, they appear to pick up energy. The reason, say astronomers, is dark energy. |
