Ancient 'Clasper'
The pelvis and clasper of a 400 million-year-old fossilized fish reassembled in photoshop. At left is a long clasper, made entirely of bone, that was likely used by the ancient fish to grip inside the female while they were mating. The clasper acts like a funnel, allowing the transfer of sperm. | Discovery News Video
