Getting the Picture Right
These three pictures were created from a sequence of images acquired by Cassini 38 hours before its closest approach to Titan. The picture on the top left has undergone basic retouching. At the top right, multiple images were used to enhance the contrast from Titan's surface and to reduce the blurring effect of atmospheric haze. The picture on the bottom has been further enhanced to sharpen the edges of features.
