Love at First Scuttle?
The tracks of a small horseshoe-like crab — likely a male — encountering a larger female and then disappearing on a 490 million-year-old fossilized tidal flat. The disappearance of the smaller tracks may indicate that the male mounted the female, a theory based on how modern horseshoe crabs mate.
