Airbag Drag Marks
Jan. 12, 2004 — Spirit's pancam reveals a sharper look at a trail left by the one of its airbags after the rover landed. Dubbed the "Magic Carpet," a crumpled portion of the soil appears to have been peeled away at the lower left side of the drag mark.
