Jan. 12, 2004 — This 3-D color model created with data from the pancam shows images of the airbags. The triangular rock in the upper left corner is approximately 8 inches (20 centimeters) tall. The meatball-shaped rock in the upper right corner is about 4 inches (10 centimeters) tall. The dark portion of the surface, or "trough," is about 0.4 inches (1 centimeter) deep at its deepest point.
