Inscrutable Titan
Saturn's moon Titan is inscrutable to the human eye. Titan's photochemical smog, rich in organic material, gives the moon a smooth, featureless, orange glow. But Cassini was designed with filters that can pierce the veil. Plus, its piggybacked Huygens probe will plunge into the atmosphere early in 2005, giving scientists an insiders view of this mysterious orange moon.
