: Needing more hands to do all the work planned for the first flight since Columbia, NASA adds veteran astronauts Andrew Thomas and Wendy Lawrence, as well as rookie flyer Charles Camarda, to the crew of STS-114. They join commander Eileen Collins, pilot James Kelly, flight engineer and spacewalker Stephen Robinson and Japan's Soichi Noguchi, who had been training since 2001 for the mission.
