NASA retargets Discovery's launch date for May 22, a week later than originally planned, to allow time to finish up paperwork and other preflight issues. Nine days later, lingering concerns about ice building up on the external tank and hitting the shuttle during launch prompt managers to again postpone Discovery's launch, this time to July, and to order more work on the shuttle's tank.
