As a tribute to one who’s become a true folk hero and legend over the past year or so, this week’s special Gold Rush Aftershow takes an intimate look at the life of John Schnabel, the beloved Grandpa of Parker.
Since I can’t do much more than encourage you to watch this touching story, I’ll just add this: In a time when a great, often toxic, debate rages about the American Dream it’s heart-warming to know that it’s alive and well in a 91-year-old resident of Haines, Alaska.
