When the groundbreaking show Weed Wars debuts on Discovery Channel on December 1st a familiar sound will be coming along for the ride. Snoop Dogg, one of the original hip-hop MCs and a shoo-in for the “rap game hall of fame,” will be lending his sound to make sure Weed Wars hits the airwaves in style. Now, don’t think Snoop is a stranger to TV. From Entourage to One Life to Live to WWE RAW, Snoop has spent plenty of time in front of the camera. But let’s stay on topic and talk about the music.
The Weed Wars soundtrack spot will be another hotspot in an already big year for Snoop coming off his release of Doggumentary. If the new track doesn’t complete your need for all things Snoop, he’s coming around again with a film project entitled Mac and Devin Go To High School featuring Wiz Khalifa in early 2012. The duo will precede the movie release with a soundtrack under the same title due December 13. All in all, 2011 might as well have been the Year of the Dogg — then again, knowing Snoop, he’s got even bigger things in store for 2012.
