Lord knows Vince Buckles has had plenty of reasons to head for the door over the past few weeks, but this time it looks like he may be gone for good.
In the Sons of Guns season finale, Vince takes the heat – again – for a screw-up that he feels should be pinned on “Golden Boy” Kris.
When Will and Joe try to reach him in a panic over the Desert AR15, Vince has flown the coop.
Vince first walked out after Kris pissed him off during the Maxim Gun build, but the the pot started to boil well before that.
In fact, the seed seems to have been planted when Kris first started to entertain plans to date Stephanie. Vince passed along advice that Kris really didn’t want to hear. But was Vince sending another message aside from his permission suggestion?
Like “don’t you dare jump ahead of me by dating the boss’s daughter. You’re the rookie who wouldn’t know anything about guns if I hadn’t taught you.”
Well, it may be that with the way Vince saw things, the worst actually came to pass, leaving him no other option but to walk out. Taking the blame for the Desert AR15′s full auto failure one was just one rap too many.
But is he gone for good? Hold off on any forecasts because there’s probably more to this story coming in the new season premiering February 29. Just around the corner.
