I was one of those people traumatized by high school physics, where you spend eons analyzing the slope of an incline plane and never get to hear about any of the good stuff. Fortunately, I figured out that physics is all around us: the same forces that govern our daily lives are also at work in the farthest reaches of the cosmos. I live in Los Angeles with a tall cosmologist named Sean, waging a fruitless battle against entropy. Entropy always wins in the end.
