4. Grounded Space Camera Why? A misshapen prime mirror left Hubble with blurry vision, so the camera was replaced on-orbit in 1993 by a new imager with built-in corrective optics. The old camera is now on display at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C. |
