Frag Dolls

frag dolls
Frag is a gaming term that indicates the number of kills. According to their web site, a frag doll is "a female gamer with the skills to dominate multiplayer shooters."

6. Brookelyn, Fidget, Phoenix, Psyche, Pyra, Rhoulette, Seppuku, Spectra, Valkyrie (aka the Frag Dolls)

You're ducking behind a dusty brick wall as bullets fly overhead. You're screaming into your headset that you need some cover fire before you can even think about moving. Before you've finished your sentence, a shadow falls over you. As you turn around you hear a female voice joyfully cry out "Gotcha!" The next thing you know, you're staring up at the sky as your vision fades away.

If you've faced a team of Frag Dolls in a competitive gaming setting, this story may sound awfully familiar. The Frag Dolls are a group of young ladies who are good at video games. In fact, they're so good that they get paid to play them. They work for game developer Ubisoft, and specialize in first person shooter games. Playing as a highly organized unit, they call out code names for specific areas of the game map and take out opponents without breaking a sweat. Their strategies have won several video game tournaments. When they aren't handing out the punishment to dismayed gamers, they're advocating for female gamers around the globe.
