Having been in the oil business for more than 30 years, it took Dan Page nearly half that time to convince his son Ken to follow in his footsteps. With only 12 years difference (or so Dan says) in age, sometimes these CEOs act more like siblings than father and son, but at the helm of a publicly traded energy company (TN-K Energy) these boys are about as hard-workin’ as they come.
In addition to oil, The Pages have messed about in real estate and had a lot of success in the ostrich and emu trade, buying and selling some of the world’s biggest bird. “Don’t piss off an ostrich or he’ll stop you,” warns Dan. But his real love, or obsession, is drillin’ for oil and working hard to make he and Ken “richer than...!”
