Travis Coomer

Born and raised in the oil business, Coomer is as self-taught as they come. Coomer is a self-taught Mr. Fix-it and can build and rebuild just about anything. Including his drilling rig.

He bought a burned-up old rig from Jimmy for $40,000 and within a year, Coomer had rebuilt the rig by hand to set out in search of oil. October of 2012 marks the month Coomer became the latest and greatest backyard oil baron when he struck a gusher pumping nearly 100 barrels/day (that’s $4 million/year).

Coomer loves his family, truck pullin’ and claims he’ll be drillin’ til the day he dies.
