Jason's father moved the family from Hawaii to Alaska in the late 80's in search of Gold and Jason has had gold fever ever since. His family owns a land mine north of Fairbanks, but Jason moved to Nome looking for more of an adventure. Water dredging was just the journey he was looking for. Jason is dredging gold under the ice to support his 4 children in Utah. He and Doug will be working a shift on the Christine Rose.
