Assistant Professor, Physics; Stanford University and the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory; Former Hubble Fellow

A former Hubble Fellow, Dr. Risa Wechsler is a member of the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology. She works on various topics in theoretical cosmology and astrophysics. Her primary interests are in galaxy formation and the development of structure in the Universe and in how astronomical observations can constrain the nature of dark matter and dark energy. She lives in San Francisco and is a big fan of Samish Bay Cheese.
