John B. O'Sullivan has been collecting, supporting and conducting research on marine animals and plants for over 26 years, first at Scripps Institution of Oceanography's Aquarium and Marine Biology Research Division and then for the last 23 years at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Presently, he is Curator of Field Operations, Manager of the Aquarium's White Shark Project and a senior collector at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
