Katherine started out at HowStuffWorks.com as the corporate librarian. She's since edited and written her way through a series of books, a newspaper column, Express magazine, the HowStuffWorks Web site and now Curiosity.com. Katherine loves that her job gives her the opportunity to learn new things daily. She's particularly interested in social and cultural anthropology, cultural linkages around the globe, African-American history, environmental studies, and social, cognitive and developmental psychology.
In true southern style, Katherine has a deep and abiding love of sweet tea and can bake biscuits and scones without measuring devices.
