Overview
For over three decades, University of Phoenix has been helping working adults make the transition into new careers by offering a high quality education that teaches practical skills employers look for.
We are the nation’s largest private university, offering both undergraduate and graduate degree programs at over 100 locations, as well as online in most countries around the world.
Our Philosophy
Our goal is to get students on track for their desired careers by first opening their eyes to all the possibilities that are available and then guiding them along their new career paths until fulfillment.
Classes and schedules are tailored for the working adult and taught by working professionals with real-world knowledge. By focusing on what matters most to our students, we can better prepare them for the workforce. We offer a series of unique, and valuable tools that can help our students achieve more fulfilling and challenging careers.
Key Resources
By engaging students before they enroll, Career Services helps students explore different career options to better understand and match their interests with possible career opportunities.
We’re also working with over 1,200 Corporate Partners to connect our students with opportunities at companies looking to hire Phoenix graduates. We also use what we learn from many of these partners to shape our curriculum to produce better-prepared graduates.
eCampus is our innovative online classroom designed specifically to meet the needs of working students. Study sessions are available through our portal anytime a student can make the time. We offer full access to our online library and lifetime eBook subscriptions. Students collaborate virtually in teams, learning an essential skill that employers covet.
With an educational support network of 600,000 students, faculty, advisors, and alumni, PhoenixConnect offers a massive support system covering a huge knowledge base. Students can ask questions, share status updates, and join student groups that help prepare them for work in their chosen field.
