Dr. Xingang Guo is a Principal Engineer of Intel's Connected Vehicle research program, and Director of the Embedded Platform and Applications research at the Intel Labs. He explores Internet computing, communication technologies and applications and services to make vehicles and transportation systems safer, greener, more effective and pleasant. Since joining the Intel Labs in 2001, Dr. Guo has conducted researches in wireless communication, mobile system design and integration, operating systems, and Internet service and application. He received Ph.D. and B.S. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, and the Tsinghua University in Beijing, respectively, both in Computer Science.
