Yi Wu received her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2005. Yi Wu is now a Senior Research Scientist in Interaction and Experience Research at Intel Labs, Santa Clara, CA. Her research interests cover different areas including: developing innovative multimedia applications, studying performance bottleneck in current architectures, and designing next-generation platforms. She owns multiple US patents and pending patent applications, and published 40+ technical publications. Currently, she is working on mobile augmented reality applications in 3D world and providing inputs to the platform design of the next-generation Mobile Internet Device. She has served as a program committee member and organizing committee member of 7+ international conferences and workshops on multimedia, video and image processing. She is a reviewer of 10+ international conferences and journals.
