Axel Hillstrand
Greenhorn
This will be Axel Hillstrand's first king King season aboard the Time Bandit, though he is no stranger to the boat. Axel worked on the ship at the end of last Opilio season as a greenhorn. Much of his time was spent at the bait station, though he eventually graduated to the stack.
Axel has also been salmon tendering with his father for the past few summers and has proven to be a tenacious worker. His next step will be to run the block.
All the Hillstrands are excited to have him aboard, especially his father Neal. Axel's presence will put some much-needed pressure on Josh Harris who needs to step up his game, because if he doesn't do his job, Axel will.
