Relief Skipper/Deck Boss
Jeff started crab fishing in 1985 and in that span of time he has run six boats. About 15 years ago, Jeff came to the unfortunate discovery that he is allergic to Opilio crab. He can’t even work with the creatures alive without suffering from asthma and itching.
Luckily, Jeff can still work King crab and other fisheries. Jeff is excited to start working with Elliott in the wheelhouse as relief skipper and as deck boss with the guys.
Even though he’s 47, age doesn't effect how much Jeff enjoys the hard labor of working on deck. It should be interesting to see how Elliott and Jeff work together, considering not only the youthful crew Elliott has usually run with but also because for the most part Elliott doesn't take well to others questioning his decisions.
