Mahlon started out on the boat as a greenhorn, lovingly nicknamed "Maybe" seeing as the Seabrooke has a knack for scaring off novices. Yet Mahlon broke the curse and proved himself to be a dedicated and essential member of the team.
Mahlon has a family of eight children to support, so it's no wonder he is motivated to solidify his place on the boat.
Since joining the crew, Mahlon has improved his skills in multiple areas from engineering, working the stack and hydros, to throwing the hook. The only thing you have to worry about Mahlon doing is the cooking.
At the end of last season, Captain Scott spoke of the great progress Mahlon has made. But with the new additions to the crew, Mahlon may have to fight to keep his spot on the Seabrooke.
