Background: Logan’s mom is Todd’s cousin. He has previously worked in retail, landscaping and is training to be a CPA. Hometown: Canby, OR.
Logan was invited along for season one, but didn’t sign on at the time. This season marks his first time as a miner and his most significant experience was learning how to drive a rock truck which became his main job at the mine. His parents raised him to be self-sufficient and strong in his faith, both of which he considers key to his survival up north. For Logan, “Gold Rush symbolizes hope for many people. I was aiming to contribute to this message as best I could in a way that young viewers can relate to. He’s hoping to test his endurance and strength, learn how tough he is and how far he can push himself.
When he’s not mining he loves to skateboard, snowboard, and bouldering in rock climbing gyms. He also enjoys hunting and fishing with his father. One day, Logan would love to run his own mining operation.
