Seeing someone shave their beard at the Gold Rush camp is like catching a glimpse of the elusive Bigfoot. It’s so rare and unbelievable, you wish you had proof of the event. Here’s proof – of a shave in the Gold Rush camp anyway – and it’s Miner Dave Turin who shaved his beard so he could grow a moustache in honor of Movember. That’s right, Dave was brave and grew his ‘stache as part of the annual event bringing awareness to men's health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.
