Meet Chris Wojcik
Christopher Wojcik is an experienced marine biologist, filmmaker, scientific illustrator, and designer, devoting his professional life to teaching people about the ocean and its inhabitants.
With a Master's degree in Biological Oceanography, over twenty years' experience as a SCUBA instructor, and an extensive portfolio of zoo, aquarium, and museum exhibits under his belt, Chris is relentlessly promoting stewardship of the sea through education. His work extends from print media, digital video, broadcast television, and lives on in the halls of countless public educational institutions around the world.
His pet project has always been sharks. When he wasn't examining salmon sharks as a government biologist aboard commercial fishing boats in Alaska, he was most likely thrilling an enthusiastic audience through his international travel adventure tours. He has introduced his clients to the Lords of the Sea in the waters surrounding six of the seven continents.
An avid SCUBA and breath-hold diver, spear fisherman, surfer and underwater videographer, Wojcik's main goal is to enjoy his life on this Ocean Planet, see as much of the Ocean Planet as possible, and share the Ocean Planet with those who would not normally get to do so.
