Burt Dalton earned an Academy Award for his special effects craftsmanship on the film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and was also nominated for JJ Abram’s Star Trek, for which he also received a BAFTA, VES and Academy of Science Fiction Award Nomination.
He has been nominated for an Emmy Award (From Earth to the Moon) and is currently the Supervising SFX expert on the new Star Trek sequel. His credits also include 50+ films and TV shows including Battleship, Total Recall, Salt, The Kingdom and The Dukes of Hazard.
He is an innovator in the special effects industry and has worked with many of Hollywood’s top directors. In fact, JJ Abrams calls him one of his top SFX guys.
