Growing up in San Diego in the '60s and '70s immersed Tank in the hot rod, drag racing and custom motorcycle scenes from an early age. A close friend introduced him into the world of outlaw motorcycle clubs, and Tank was immediately hooked by the wild, loose, freewheeling style—and the die-hard commitment to brotherhood. For many years, Tank kept his eyes and ears open and his mouth shut as he learned the rules of the game. After prospecting and patching into the Laffing Devils, Tank developed his reputation for fierce loyalty and his love to "screw it on," whether he is riding, partying or fighting for his club.
