The bond between members of a motorcycle club is a strong one. In fact, the camaraderie—and sense of freedom—is what drives most men to join. Here, members of the Laffing Devils and Sinister Mob reveal what brotherhood means to them.
THE LAFFING DEVILS
BILLY THE KID — Brotherhood is knowing that your brothers have your back at all times and would give almost anything for you—it’s truly a blessing most people can't imagine. |
DANNY BOY — Being a part of a brotherhood means taking care of each other and working as a unit. There was a camaraderie while I spent 21 years in the Corps and this is the same thing—it's just like a family. |
MAD MAX — To be part of a brotherhood means everything to me. They are my family, friends, and support system. We live in a tough world and at some point you will need to lean on each other. If you call on your brothers they will ask where and when NOT why. |
WHITE BOI — I devote my life to the Club. They come first. Wife, girlfriend, kids, job etc.—all second. I will give up my life and freedom again for my brotherhood. It’s an unexplainable feeling to be in a brotherhood and I will die for it. The brotherhood is my life, my blood, my sweat and my tears—till the dirt hits the box. |
SNUBZ — Being part of the brotherhood is an amazing feeling. It's like an extension of my family. It means everything to me. It’s knowing someone has your back and you have their back—no matter what! |
A look back: The Laffing Devils remember their brother, Juice
SINISTER MOB
BUBBA — I found a brotherhood in the military and then a similar brotherhood within the MC community.
To me, a brotherhood is a family that loves and respects each other unconditionally. You live, laugh, fight, and stand with your brothers. This bond is created through loyalty, respect, integrity, and honor. It's held close to your heart and is unbreakable.

DIESEL — Being in a brotherhood means you are surrounded by people you can count on and trust with your life. |
GRIZZ — You give your full trust, backing, and love for your brother and their families and friends. This trust expands to the point you back them no matter what they do. You must be willing to leave on a moment’s notice to travel anywhere in the world to back a brother. That’s the kind of biker that makes a true brother. |
ROCKEM — Being part of a brotherhood is a tight bond between men. Just ask any Marine. Semper Fi. |
PROSPECT ROB — Brotherhood means many things to many bikers. Most commonly agreed upon is the “fraternal bond that goes deeper than blood.” It, above all, is earned prior to “patching,” and continuous unspoken loyalty to one’s brothers in time of need—unconditionally, until dead. |
