I got my road name because I've been a diesel mechanic for over 20 years, and I'm as big as a Peterbilt—or so I'm told.
My road name was given to me a long time ago by someone else and it was meant to be derogatory. I decided to turn it around and use it as motivation.
Back in the day, as a young man, I worked for several years at a ranch and rock quarry in Franktown, Colorado. My job was to take 15-ton rocks and break them with a 16 lb. sledgehammer into pieces small enough to go down the chute of a 50-ton rock crusher. This work built my strength to an amazing level and because of the solitude of the work I did not sport a clean shave or regular hair cuts (this led to many a problem with the local cowboys and the law). Due to my stature and strength at the time, I had an aggressive attitude for stupidity and no fear to back down. Folks gave me the name Grizzly Nuts, After a time, they just started calling me Grizz and that name has stuck for many decades.
The name has no hidden meaning. My father often referred to me as Bubba, or "Bub" for short. Being separated by a military career, I never lost sight of my nickname.
My road name was given to me—not chosen—but it does match my personality. I don’t go out of my way to do wrong to anybody, but if you cross me I will get you and you won’t see it coming. I don’t forget, but I will forgive if you show your intentions are true.
My road name refers to fighting. My brother and I grew up fighting so they called us the Rockem and Sockem brothers. One St. Patrick's Day, my brother and I got into a fight with 20 guys and that's when Rockem became my name. They refer to that night as the St. Patrick's Day Massacre.]
My name Snubz came from a shortened version of my chopper's name—The Snub Nose. I like it cuz it's unique.
My road name refers to the famous outlaw and was given to me by my sponsor as a play on my actual name—William.
My road name was given to me by the club because of my size, and because I don't think about danger, I just run over whatever is in my way. Also, no matter how cold it is, I always wear a tank top.
The name White Boi was given to me by a good friend who was like a father to me. He took me under his wing and paved a positive path for me. His family members would always refer to me as White Boi. They're full Italian so they be like, "Where's that White Boi?" I'm 100% German so it fits and it stuck. I added the 'oi' to the Boi, for 'oi oi'—it's a punkrocker thing.
